Can be used with any compatible Amplifier, Car Stereo type setup, or used with our Amplified Speakers to add an additional set of speakers. When used this way, you would just connect one of the speakers to the left channel output on the amplifier and the other speaker to the right channel output on the amplifier.

The Standard speaker is used in our Amplified speaker systems and the Upgraded Speaker option is what we use in our Ultra Premium Amplified systems, they just don't come with the amplifier and all the other extras. 

These speakers are designed to be used with an amplifier or car stereo type setup, and enjoyed at speeds of 80 mph+ and on bikes with loud pipes or no windshields.  If you use your own amplifier they will be limited by the quality and power of that amp, so don't go cheap on the amp if you want them to sound good, most people buy these to add additional speakers to one of our amplified speakers or if you already have a great amplifier.
